Mr. Abdul Ghaffar
Abdul Ghaffar Khan, son of Muhammad Jan, was born in District Mardan. Growing up in a humble economic background, he was unable to pursue formal education during his early years.
From a young age, his parents encouraged him to enter the building profession. Despite his strong interest in education, circumstances did not allow him to study. He began working in construction, where his dedication, honesty, and practical skills helped him progress steadily, eventually reaching the position of a contractor.
Later, he worked as a clerk, responsible for labor payments, record keeping, and other administrative tasks. Alongside his work, Abdul Ghaffar demonstrated exceptional talent, independently designing and creating building sketches.
To further develop his expertise, he visited several Gulf countries, gaining valuable practical experience in the construction field. However, the lack of a formal academic degree often posed challenges, which made him deeply appreciate the importance of education.
Inspired by these experiences, Abdul Ghaffar established Luminous Modern School with a mission to provide quality education for all children, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. He is committed to ensuring that every child has access to learning, growth, and opportunities to build a bright and successful future.
His journey reflects resilience, determination, and a lifelong commitment to self-improvement and social contribution. Today, through Luminous Modern School, he continues to inspire and empower the next generation.
